Teachers are the experts?

The £45bn schools building programme is failing because the people who really know what is needed - the staff and the pupils - are not being consulted until too late in the process, say teachers' groups. What do you think?

School design labelled 'mediocre'

The BSF school rebuilding programme risks being harmed by poor design, according to CABE. What is your experience? What do you think? Our approach is rooted in connecting design with pedagogy. It's no use having the design wow factor unless it clearly supports teaching and learning.

Use of colour

Visited a new build school yesterday, where the use of calm colours has had a really positive impact on pupil behaviour. Any similar examples of targeted use of colour?
